It’s hard to believe it’s been a dozen years since you first entered my life. You’re not just a piece of technology; you’re a symbol of innovation, endless possibilities, and the birth of a vibrant community.
Twelve years ago, you changed the way I perceived technology. You were not just a single-board computer; you were a catalyst for my journey into the fascinating world of making. Opening doors that I didn’t even know existed, and I can’t thank you enough for that.
You are my gateway to the maker community, a space filled with creativity, curiosity, and a shared passion for turning ideas into reality. I have made LEDs blink, created time lapse photography, taken photos of the moon, built robots and created a Raspberry Jam event in Berlin. But most of all, I have learned! Raspberry Pi has been my reliable companion every step of the way.
It’s not just about the projects; it’s about the people. The Raspberry Pi community is a diverse and welcoming family of makers, innovators, and enthusiasts. Through you, I’ve made incredible friends at the Raspberry Jam Berlin, Hack Spaces and Makerfaires!
Together, we’ve celebrated successes, troubleshot challenges, and learned from each other. The Raspberry Pi community is more than just a group of individuals; it’s a network of support, inspiration, and camaraderie. It’s amazing how you, a piece of hardware, could connect me with such fantastic people around the globe.
As you turn 12, I want to express my deepest gratitude. You’ve been a source of inspiration, a canvas for my creativity, and the reason behind the bonds formed within the Raspberry Pi community.
Happy Birthday, Raspberry Pi!
